The camera recognition system is a compact, single-camera universal scanning system designed for multiple applications. Easy to use menus make job setup, selection, and change over a breeze for less downtime and more productivity. It reads multiple symbologies and virtually any font. The camera system has the flexibility to read 1D or 2D barcodes or a character string printed anywhere in a specific field: DataMatrix, Postnet, OMR or OCR. The system can also scan every piece for correct sequence number or mailing address presence.
Integra Data Collection Software accumulates and stores the data captured by the vision system for post-processing analysis and data reconciliation. The software works in conjunction with the vision system by collecting the data read from the vision system and logging it into a local data file. That data file can then be reconciled with the information that was intended to be printed. Independent data collection and reconciliation of a production process is the only guarantee that the final results of the process match the intended results.
The data file can then be imported to a separate application for data reconciliation and analysis. (ASCII, Excel, or ODBC direct link) This analysis provides for complete document quality assurance as well as a detailed audit trail.
